➢ Chronology: Triggered by high intensity rain with a long duration on Saturday 18 May 2024 at 18.00 WIT
➢ Location:
● Central Aru District
- Algadang Village
➢ Casualties:
● 161 families/450 people affected
➢ Material Losses:
● 161 housing units affected
● 11 housing units were slightly damaged
➢ Effort:
● The Aru Islands Regency BPBD carries out coordination with related agencies, including the Social Service, Housing and Settlement Service, Public Works and Public Housing Service and the Aru Islands Regency Health Service for handling Emergency and Post-Disaster Responses for residents affected by disasters.
