Description

As reported by the National Security Council (MKN), flood occurred in state of Johor, Perak, Selangor, Melaka and Negeri Sembilan. The incident was caused by the heavy and intense rain that has been estimated to be happened in the late October. Based on the report, the flood occurred in the following area: JOHOR : Batu Pahat, Kluang and Ledang. PERAK : Hilir Perak MELAKA : Melaka Tengah and Jasin SELANGOR : Kuala Langat and Sepang NEGERI SEMBILAN: Tampin The affected population numbers are (in person): • Johor: 942 • Perak: 134 • Melaka: 136 • Selangor: 990 20 evacuation centers were established in each of the affected areas to assist the victim. No fatality has been reported so far. As the situation improved, more and more people returned to their residents or stayed with the relatives.
