Description

Ha Giang and Dien Bien:

According to quick reports from Ha Giang and Dien Bien provinces, heavy rain from the night of July 9 to July 10 caused the following damage:
- 18 houses were affected and damaged (Dien Bien 02 houses, Ha Giang 16 houses)
- Regarding agriculture: 246 hectares of rice and crops were affected and damaged.
- Regarding traffic: Landslides on National Highway 34, Provincial Highway 177, inter-village roads in Bac Quang, Hoang Su Phi, Bac Me, Quang Binh districts of Ha Giang province; 08 traffic routes in Tua Chua district, Dien Bien Dong, Dien Bien province were eroded.

After the natural disaster occurred, local authorities mobilized on-site forces to assist in overcoming the consequences, diverting traffic, and guarding dangerous locations.

Ca Mau
According to quick report No. 17/BC-VPPCTT dated July 9, 2024 of the Office of the Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Control, Natural Resources and Population Development of Ca Mau province, on July 8, 2024, in Dam Doi district, rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning occurred. Damaged 02 houses, estimated loss of 10 million VND; In Rach Goc town, Ngoc Hien district, landslides occurred causing 04 houses to completely collapse; 05 houses partially collapsed. Estimated damage is 1 billion VND.

Immediately after the natural disaster occurred, local authorities mobilized forces to help people overcome damage and quickly stabilize their lives.
